Bex (she/her) is an active organizer in Orange County with a passion for reproductive freedom. Coming from an anti-choice family, her first exposure to reproductive rights activism was her involvement in Orange Coast College’s Planned Parenthood Generation Action club. From there, she was able to build a strong network that lead to internships at the OC Women’s March, Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties, and being a member of Advocates for Youth’s Abortion Out Loud (formerly 1 in 3) Campaign.Outside of reproductive freedom work, Bex has been active in the Orange County community in various ways. For two years, she taught elementary to high school students in Santa Ana Unified School District speech and debate skills that lead them to national championships. During the 2018 and 2020 election cycles, Bex organized candidate rallies and speaking events on her campus, with one event featured on national television, and interned on several campaigns for different levels of government. Throughout her work in Orange County, Bex always has the goal of making her community better.In her free time, Bex enjoys journaling, finding new places to order takeout from, and petting her roommate’s dog.
