A Bay Area native, Lydia received a BA in International Relations from San Francisco State University and recognized her passion for reproductive freedom when writing her Senior Thesis on the Global Gag Order. At University she was very active in clubs on campus including the International Relations Student Association and the International Education Exchange Council, where she realized her talents for event planning and execution. Through her studies and an Internship at the Global Fund for Women, Lydia discovered her aptitude for development and non-profit work. When she’s not working, Lydia loves to get outside with friends and family and also volunteers at the Bay Area Marine Animal Rescue Center.
